What is Lifestyle Medicine?

Lifestyle medicine is a rapidly growing medical practice whose core principles echo the wisdom of ancient physicians like Hippocrates, while being firmly grounded in modern scientific evidence. It treats root causes with therapeutic lifestyle interventions and emphasizes sustainable daily habits that promote a higher quality of life.

The six interconnected pillars of lifestyle medicine are Nutrition, Exercise, Sleep, Stress Management, Social Connections and Avoidance of Risky Substances. These six pillars have been proven to not only prevent and treat chronic physical conditions but also provide relief to mental and emotional overwhelm.

Meet Lifestyle Medicine Coach Bebe

Hi, I am Coach Bebe Wilkinson, a certified Lifestyle Medicine Coach (LMC) and also a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBCHWC). My interest in Lifestyle Medicine started in 2004, when poor health forced me to walk away from a corporate career. Lifestyle medicine brought me back to life and I have been dedicated to passing that blessing forward ever since. Today, my mission is to help other women reclaim their vitality using the same principles that transformed my own life. I received my NBCHWC certification in 2017, and my LMC certification in 2020.
